I jumped on the Hetalia bandwagon. I blame it on these really pretty doujinshi covers that kept popping up on aarinfantasy's forum. Of course my favorite couple so far are Alfred aka America and Arthur aka England. They are soooo cute together. And now that I've found the lovely livejournal site that has a nice guide for everything, I have added to my english scanned doujinshi of them. My favorite one is called Yakusoku no Mireniamu. It has the right amount of angst to make your heart ache a little. Second fav is a tie between Tobenai tori to togi no hana and From the New World, with Love. I also like Denmark & Sweden and Germany & Austria. That is thanks to Futou-Setsu and Heizen Sie Augen. After that I'm pretty open on pairings. I read one with Germany & Northern Italy and it was pretty cute. The only ones I think I'll be exclusive with is Alfred & Arthur. They just go so well together I don't want to read anything with them not together. I have the anime up to what gg subs has brought out and just need to watch them now. I kind of need to wait till a bit later this week as I have a powerpoint assignment due tomorrow that I still need to work on. So maybe wednesday I can start watching. I need to learn who everyone is before I even start looking for icons to save.

On a side note....I also jumped on the Persona4 wagon. That was totally a doujinshis fault. Yosuke in a skirt getting it on with Souji plus pretty covers and in english....how can a person pass that up.

So I've been reading a lot of doujinshi lately. I blame it all on reading this one Gin & Hijikata one. Usually I stick to the hetero ones but I though why not...Gin & Hijikata sounds interesting...I'll read it and see how it goes. Well that one little story snowballed into so many I had to create a new folder just to keep them in. So now I am a some what proud shipper of not only Gin & Hijikata but Doumeki & Watanuki (xxxholic), Takeshi & Hibari (KHR), Zoro & Sanji(One Piece), Niou & Yagyuu (PoT), Fuji & Tezuka (PoT), Inui & Kaoru (PoT), Suzaku & Lelouch (Code Geass), Ichigo & Ishida (Bleach), Itsuki & Kyon (MoHS), Gojyo & Sanzo (Saiyuki) and Havoc & Roy (FMA). Not that I don't still like the hetero pairings. I would still take Ichigo & Rukia over Ichigo & Ishida or Roy & Riza over Havoc & Roy anytime. Most of the time there is a hetero pair I like that doesn't interfere with my boy love one. Like in KHR I like Gokudera & Haru much better than Gokudera and Tsuna or anyone else. I tend to only read the pairing I like also. The only one I don't mind switching around with is Renji from Bleach. I've read him as the seme for Ichigo and Shuuhei and another one where he was the uke to Byakuya and Shuuhei again. So all those pairings I don't mind. I also like it better when they stay as what they are. Like I like Fuji as the seme better than as the uke to Tezuka. Likewise with Itsuki to Kyon. The only one I don't care either way is Zoro and Sanji. They can switch it up all they want and I will still read them.

I had a weird dream this morning. I think I was back in high school. Or maybe it was a reunion. Anyway we were putting on some kind of show/bazaar thing. There was a dance/song thing and we were wearing matching outfits. After that was over there was some kind of fair type thing with booths to sell stuff or inform people about things. I remember there was a juice smoothie kind of booth and this guy I really liked was running it. I was over next to my friend and we were discussing the fact that I still really liked him and I should go tell him since he wasn't married or dating anyone. So I went over to the booth and as I was getting there all these people came to get smoothies. So I was kind of shoved back and off to the side. Eventually I some how ended up behind the counter helping him make the smoothies. But I couldn't tell him that I still loved him after all these years. Than some other stuff happened and I kind of woke up with a headache.

So I was thinking....can you really love someone for that many years even though you haven't seen them since you graduated? I mean I have no idea where this person could be now but I sometimes feel like I still love him and will always love him. Which is really weird since we never really dated or anything in high school. I mean we kissed and stuff but we weren't really going together. He had liked me back in middle school and then again when we were juniors. I realized that I liked him too but we were never boyfriend/girlfriend. We graduated and that was it. But every once in a while I have dreams with him in them. They aren't always ones where we are still in school but sometimes when we are our ages now. I have tried to ask about him to people I know but they haven't heard anything since graduation either. I even looked on that Classmates site but he's not there. It makes me wonder if that's the reason I haven't really tried to date anyone or remotely try to find a boyfriend/lover. Feelings are a strange thing.

[music |Saishuushou - Zetsuai Bronze]

I have recently discovered the wonderful world of yaoi. I think I can trace the origin with Boku no Pico ova1. Then I watched Sensitive Pornograph, Level C, Okane Ga Nai, Ikoku Irokoi Romantan, Sekimatsu Darling and Zetsuai/Bronze. I really enjoyed them all but my favorite is Level C and Sensitive Pornograph. So that led me to trying to find the manga versions. That was when it all went crazy. I found this wonderful site that had whole volumes to download. I have now read at least 6 different volumes by Chitose Piyoko and at least 2 or 3 by Takahashi Yuu, Oumi Shinano, Takashi Kanzaki and Takaaki Kusaka. My absolute favorite of all of them is La Satanica by Momoko Tenzen and Aruji no Oose no Mamani by Taishi Zaou. I also really like Hisho to Yajuu and Suit wo Kita Akuma. I can't wait til someone scans the second two which deal more with Eiki and Mairo. Sadly they are my favorite couple in the story and they only really had two chapters in Suit. But the next two are suppose to be all about them.

I have noticed that I tend to like the stories where one of the guys has glasses. I always suspected that I had a glasses fetish but I didn't realize it was that bad. My two favorite stories, one of the guys in each couple has glasses. I noticed this in normal mangas but really. I mean there's Ishida(Bleach), Kyoya(Ouran), Hakkai and Ni Jieni(Saiyuki), Kazuo(BusGamer), Satoshi(DNAngel), Watanuki(xxxholic), Seishiro(TokyoBabylon & X), Umeda(Hanakimi), Nomiya(Honey&Clover), Ryoki(HotGimmick), Kaoru(WelcometotheNHK), Yuuya(NougamiNeuro), Kubota(WildAdapter), and Smith(ZombiePowder).

Now that I've gotten off subject and all...this is bad for my wallet. Not that I had much money to begin with. Rather none. Well unless you count the fifty bucks left on my Borders card. But with this whole new genre that I've discovered that means even more that I want/need to buy. I already have a list of almost twenty and that was just looking at what animenation had. Too bad La Satanica doesn't come out til next september or I'd make a trip to Borders and get it tomorrow. So i definitely need to get a job soon. No one ever buys me books for my birthday or christmas. Usually it's a gift card which is nice since I can get the ones I really want. Okay enough rambling...I really need to get off the computer now.

I just got done watching the first episode of Code Geass on AS. It was pretty good. I never actually watched the sub version last year so I don't know if the voices match up or not. Not that I really care. I thought they sounded good. Of course I need to ignore the fact that Lelouch is Ichigo. I've already forgotten he was once Vash so it shouldn't be that hard. Then I ended up hearing Holland's voice too. It amazes me how people have such a huge problem with dubs. I don't mind most of them....although I have no desire to watch Saiyuki dubbed. But I watched DBZ, Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist and alot of other ones that came on AS dubbed before I ever got to hear them in japanese with subs. It makes me wonder if people in other countries have a problem when an american movie gets dubbed in their language. Do they complain about how the voices don't sound the same as the original. Or do they even care. The only problem I would really have is the mouths matching with the words. I watched a really old Jackie Chan movie once that was horrible. His lips were moving and nothing was coming out.

Well tomorrow I'm going to finish watching 1 Pound Gospel. I finished Sexy Voice and Robo friday. I was slightly disappointed they didn't end up together but I guess it could happen in the future when Niko gets older.

The mind can play weird tricks on you. Last night I was sitting in front of my tv waiting for Ghost in the Shell to come on Adult Swim. My cat decided he wanted to be lovey so he was laying on his back in my lap. I was being nice and rubbing his belly and I glanced down at his face just for a second and I swear Shun Oguri was smiling back at me. It was really creepy. Not that I don't like him or anything...just I wasn't expecting to see him in my lap. I blame it on my watching Hanakimi, the second Conan special and the first six episodes of Gokusen in the last four days. It's funny the people you start to recognize from other dramas. I mean I had no idea the guy who played Minami in Gokusen played Megu-chan in Hanakimi. It's kind of fun to see who you can recognize. I usually do that with voice actors.

On a side note...I was looking up who played Yuki in episode six of Gokusen and I discovered it was Eiji Wentz. So I was going down the wiki page to see what else he was in and as I scrolled back to his picture I glanced over at his birthday. I turned eight the day he was born. A much better person than Matt Damon to share your birthday with in my eyes.

It's snowing. I woke up this morning and it was snowing. It's only november. At least it's an improvement over last year when it snowed on Halloween. But still...snow. I was hoping for a nice light winter this year. I don't even have my studded tires on yet. Oh well.

I have recently gotten into Jpop music. I mean I have listened to Arashi and V6 before but that was mostly because of Jun and the theme for Gokusen. But I downloaded a couple albums by KAT-TUN, WaT and some songs by Yamashita Tomohisa. Now normally I would never have done this but I broke down and watched Gokusen2. I wasn't going to because of the whole lack of Jun goodness, but I have now seen the LoveCom movie and Nobuta wo Produce. So I realized that actors in those were also in Gokusen2. So I watched it. And discovered the adorableness that is Teppei, Yamapi and Kame. So I decided to try out their singing abilities. I was not disappointed. From what I got, I now have a couple favorites on my ipod and like the rest of them.

It's funny how thing connect like that. If I had not watched Gokusen I would never have gone on to watch Trick, GTO, Nobuta, HanaDan, My Boss My Hero, and other misc jdramas. Not to mention the korean movies I've seen. If I hadn't watched all those I would probably never have tried to download the theme songs and then different groups albums. It is nice to know what people are talking about when they use nicknames though. I always though Yamapi was some weird group or a combination of two peoples names. Anyway...I just felt it was time for an update and figured this was something interesting to talk about.

Now if only the heat would go away I could be happy watching dramas all day.

Okay.. I'm suppose to be doing a paper for my history class tomorrow and I've been on-line for the last hour and a half. I was just going to check one small thing and the next thing I knew I was updating this thing. I didn't realize I had that many interests. Either it's a show of my vast curiosity or I'm just really sad. So now I'm going to go finish my paper before I loose all the info I read.

with this live journal thing. I really only wanted to sign up so I could post stuff on Soul Society's site. It's a Bleach site. I really like Bleach. Of course waiting for the next chapters to com eout each week is annoying. Not to mention waiting for Lunar to dub. But they are pretty fast. Too bad Viz isn't fast. So if anyone wants to coment about anything, I might get around to talking back.
